A simple little tool that allows marking the centerline of tubing during the fabrication process.
With some clever geometry this 3D printed block allows you to mark center of 1.0, 1.125, 1.25, 1.375, 1.50, 1.625, 1.75, and 2.00 tubing sizes using the two pen positions. Each position is marked with a simple text reference.
Color: Random. If you have a specific request drop a comment and I will try and accommodate it. I print these mostly out of remaining spools of material from larger projects. I will try and only provide brighter colors as it makes reading the text much easier. Black as shown will be my last choice.
Notes:
Designed to work with authentic 'Sharpie' brand permanent markers, but many other brands also work. Millwuakee brand does not quite fit correctly.
These are printed in PLA+ material with a heavy wall and infill to help give them a long life, but they will wear down over time. It is not recommended that they be used on an abrasive surface like concrete. Using them on a smooth clean surface like a steel fab table will give it the longest life.
Being a 3d printed part to keep cost down, it is best not left in direct sunlight or close to high heat.
