This CNC machined one-piece 6061-T6 Aluminum adapter has been designed to mate a Torque Flight 904/999 automatic transmission to a Dana 300 Transfer case in the shortest possible configuration. This adapter is double center marked with two different bolt patterns for the Dana 300 and will need to be finish drilled for whatever pattern you wish to use. Option 1 is a conventional Dana 300 passenger drop configuration that clocks the transfer case to be the same level as the bottom of the stock TF904/999 transmission pan. Option 2 is a special pattern to support Stak Replace-A-Case used by Jesse Haines in his competition moon buggy chassis. Any other custom pattern can be marked and drilled during mock up to support custom fitment in any configuration that doesn't interfere with the transmission mounting holes.
This kit includes ONLY includes the following-
-CNC machined 6061-T6 Aluminum Adapter
-Socket head mounting bolts for the transmission side
-PDF instructions for auxiliary modifications to the transmission and transfer case.
-Shipping inside the USA, typically a USPS flat rate medium box.
-This is NOT a complete adapter package.
-The factory transmission output shaft will need to be modified per the included instructions ( shortened and re-splined to match the D300 input shaft )
-The Park function in the transmission will be ELIMINATED to use this adapter.
-A manual valve body is highly suggested
-Only 5 of the 6 transfer case mounting bolts will be able to be used with this style of adapter. The 'bottom' stud can not be used because of its proximity to the transmission pan flange.
-The output support on the transmission will need to be modified for length and oiling passages plugged.
-The D300 input and support will need to be modified.
-This adapter gives an overall transmission length of just over 17" ( with the 60 degree style bellhousing version of the TF904/999 transmission )
