This compact recovery point bolts to any early Willys Jeep, and many other vehicles, with the standard 3 3/8" x 1 3/4" bolt pattern on the rear cross-member. It is designed to provide a proper large radius for any soft shackle using a small section of heavy wall DOM tubing.
The prototype was thoroughly tested by the one and only Stan Fuller on his Grandpa's Jeep CJ2a from the Rubicon to Moab and beyond over the last few years. Designed and Engineered to replace the factory draw-bar assembly and exceed the strength of the factory K-member.
This product is provided as a DIY kit. The included brace panel functions as a hole pattern jig during assembly. All parts are CNC laser cut and CNC bent to provide an accurate fit. The design is self supporting to make the welding strength less critical.
Hardware Included. Grade 8 1/2-13 bolts, washers, and Nylon locking nuts.
