Finally a pressed steel cage foot for your classic jeep that won't destroy the factory ribs stamped into the top of the wheel tub!
These 10 gauge ( 0.135" thick ) HRPO steel plates are CNC laser cut and then press brake formed to gently curve to just clear the factory ribs. These plates are 5x5" with four 3/8" mounting holes. The flat matching bottom plates,perfectly sized to function as a companion for the formed upper plate, are also CNC cut from the same material with a matching indexing button.

Notes-
The press forming operation uses a safe smooth radius in the bend area to provide maximum strength. This is not an exact match for the factory rib is they have a harder corner that would effect the strength of the plate.
The formed plate is designed to touch the top of the rib with a tolerance of +/- 1/32nd of an inch. There is some variability in the height of the factory ribs.
